Trade name: La trentina
The "Consorzio la Trentina" was founded in 1989 in order to coordinate the work of various local member coops spread around Trentino.The "Organizzazione di Produttori Consorzio la Trentina" was then set up 1997 in order to protect and promote the quality of fruit produced in Trentino by more than 2500 family enterprises.
Currently there are six member coops covering the Valle dell'Adige, Val di Cembra, Valsugana, Vallagarina, Valle del Sarca and Lomaso areas.
Thanks to the strategic direction taken down through the years, today they can claim to be the fourth largest apple producer nationally, and an important player in the general fruit sector thanks to their growing of other fruit, including cherries, kiwis, plums, strawberries and soft fruit.
